With over 20 years of experience in the grocery industry, Brandon’s background includes DSD sales at Alpine Distribution, schematic development at Marketing Specialists, category management at Nugget Markets and category management at UNFI.
Over his entire career, he has developed lasting relationships with many manufacturers and key leaders in the grocery industry. In addition to working with key retailers and distributors, he can help brands with promotional planning, margin analysis and pricing, and on-shelf execution. With a mind-set of service, an eye for detail, and great follow-through, Brandon’s team can help grow brands by increasing distribution and sales in California. Whether a large, national brand or a pioneering start-up, together his team will develop strong programs that turn your sales goals into reality.
When Brandon’s not working, he enjoys snowboarding in Tahoe, riding his motorcycle in the foothills of Northern California, or attending classic Volkswagen car shows.
President – Northern California
With nearly four decades of grocery experience, Rob Giusti brings a breadth of experience and knowledge to Global Sales & Marketing. He started his career as a bagger in a grocery store, and quickly moved up, working many positions: dairy, frozen, pricing, receiving, and eventually to assistant store director—one of the youngest Andronico’s had.
Deciding he wanted a change, Rob became a sales rep for Gourmet Specialties, a specialty foods distributor. He eventually was promoted to district manager, overseeing the Sacramento region.
Rob found his way back to Andronico’s as their senior buyer for specialty foods, natural foods, and adult beverage. While there, he created a nationally recognized wine steward program that is still being used. He left after 23 years to become a sales rep for Global Sales & Marketing.
While at Global Sales & Marketing, he was honored with the Western Region Broker of the Year three years in a row. After eight years with Global Sales & Marketing, Rob left to become a Western Regional Sales Manager for a top yogurt manufacturer, where he gained new distribution and added over 800 new stores. Over the next seven years, Rob ended up managing over 60 mass market and natural accounts throughout the West. Rob left to rejoin Global Sales & Marketing as of January 2019 as President.
When he’s not working, Rob enjoys gardening, hiking, backpacking, golfing, bowling, and traveling near and far in his RV. He also loves building his own homes, which he’s done twice now. He and his wife live in their forever home in Elk Grove.
Owner and President – Southern California
Dave’s expertise and vast knowledge of the Southern California market are a great asset to Global Sales & Marketing. His fabulous reputation is well known and well respected. When out in the field, Dave is often stopped in the aisles of the retailers he visits often and greeted by name—his experience and relationships are the keystone to his success in the Southern California region.
Dave brings 30 years of experience in the grocery field to Global Sales & Marketing. His 10 years of experience at store level ranged from order clerk to department head. After four years of overseeing American sales for an Asian food distributor, Dave became a broker. He has nearly 20 years of experience as a broker, half of which have been heading the Southern California division of Global Sales & Marketing.
Chief Financial Officer
Brings to Global Sales & Marketing over 40 years of sales and marketing experience in the consumer product and wine industry. David has managed multi-level sales organizations from a regional to a national level. He brings strong organizational and financial skills to Global Sales & Marketing to better service our customers and suppliers.
On David's days off, he enjoys driving his street cars and going to car shows.
Vice President of Sales and Key Account Manager for Safeway/Albertsons, Lunardi's, and Market Centre/Supervalu
Josef has worked in the grocery industry for near two decades and has worked for several retailers, including Albertsons, Safeway, and Nugget Markets. Prior to working at Global Sales & Marketing, Josef was the Corporate Natural and Specialty Grocery Buyer at Nugget Markets, a leading independent grocery chain in Northern California, where he and Brandon Jackson were co-workers.
Josef manages and assists the Northern California sales team, and aims to increase sales across all channels by working directly with the sales team, distributors, and retailers to identify opportunities. He is also a liaison between the suppliers, distributors, and the key account managers, providing crucial sales and marketing information to all parties. He provides the sales team with all the tools and technology they need to work efficiently for our suppliers. He is also our IT guy.
Josef attended U.C. Davis and received his degree in political science. He enjoys traveling, reading, dining out, running, crosswords, and stuffing his brain full of trivia.
Key Account Manager – South Bay, Peninsula, Central Coast, and Southern Sierras
Maggie Roberge has over twenty years’ experience in the grocery business. She brings a unique perspective, having gained experience in both the specialty and natural food trades.
Maggie began her retail food career after transitioning out of cooking in upscale restaurants, starting in California as a specialty food buyer at Oakville Grocery at their Stanford location for two years.
She then joined the retail sales team at Gourmet Specialties for over six years and spent another two years with Dale Cox distributing, developing their South Bay retail business. For 12 years prior to working at Global Sales & Marketing, she was with Hain-Celestial group, a leading natural food manufacturer, calling on key retail accounts in Northern California.
Maggie has grown the sales for each company she has worked with and achieved top performer accolades multiple times. Her knowledge of natural and organic foods helps to round out the Global sales team and what it offers.
In her spare time, Maggie likes to find the latest creative restaurants to experience great food! She also enjoys wine tasting with her husband and friends.
Key Account Manager – North Bay, East Bay, Sacramento Valley, Central Valley, Northern Sierras, and North Coast
Mike has nearly two decades of experience in the natural grocery industry. Mike's background includes working as a grocery manager at Nugget Market and Sprouts. With both companies, he helped develop their unique brand of merchandising in the Northern California region.
He was instrumental in new store openings and team training during their rapid growth. Mike brings his vast knowledge of store processes and a keen eye for grocery to the Global Sales & Marketing team. He does a great job of building relationships and has been very successful at bridging gaps between stores and suppliers.
Mike's positive attitude and "can-do" spirit will bring your brand to a new level in the natural grocery channel.
Key Account Manager – Southern California
Ray has 20 years' experience servicing retail accounts at the store level, the last eight of which have been with Global Sales & Marketing. His attention to detail and great follow through ensure that our brands have not only made it to the shelf, but are priced appropriately and look great.
Ray is involved with all aspects of store merchandising including the set up and implementation of schematics, securing of shelf tags and ensuring that all products that should be on the shelf have indeed made it out to the floor. In addition, Ray handles any issues that arise at store level and works with store managers personally. He also performs product audits and assists with demos.
Nancy brings over 30 years of specialty and natural grocery retail experience to Global Sales & Marketing. She has worked in numerous positions within the industry from store level clerk and management to assistant buyer and outside sales. Her diverse experience makes her a great asset as Operations Manager for Global Sales & Marketing.
As Operations Manager, Nancy supports both the Northern California and Southern California sales teams. She also maintains the company’s infrastructure, and remains hands on with the communications between manufacturer and customer.
Lara has worked in the financial/insurance business for over 8 years with the following background: customer service, marketing and sales. Lara is highly proficient and responsive to our customers and principles.
She is the point of contact for the company and is the bridge for the manufacturer, distributor and direct accounts. Her helpfulness, friendly demeanor and prompt follow through are a large benefit to our company. Should any issues arise, her tactful and quick response help to resolve them quickly.
